I'm an author-publisher appreciative of IBPA's guidance on how to do it right! I want to raise the bar on author-published works.
As a playwright-turned-novelist, I learned from working with Ray Bradbury that I love all things strange and tender, so my writing focus is supernatural fantasy where ghosts speak, wishes have weight, and hope refuses to die—even after death. My new novel, A Tale for the Shadows—published through my imprint Taylor Street Press—is a finalist for the Foreword Reviews Indies Award and has been garnering rave reviews.
I hold a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.A. in Theater Literature and History from the State University of New York. I also studied acting at Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York City, treading the boards as a professional actor and director for decades. In all my endeavors, I favor navigating life’s plot twists with humor, empathy, and resilience—skills that inform my approach to writing and publishing.
