Lee Klancher has spent more than 30 years in the publishing industry as a publisher, editor, and author. In 2010, he founded Octane Press, an independent trade press which publishes transportation titles and has won more than 40 independent publishing awards. The company leans heavily into direct-to-consumer and direct-to-retailer sales, with 60 percent of average annual sales coming from D2C and D2B channels. A photographer and a writer, Lee has authored more than a dozen books, most recently Snoopy and the Spy (Octane Press, 2024).
