David Hetherington is the VP – Business Development for Books International, a leading provider of book manufacturing and fulfillment services to book publishers.
David holds a BS in business administration from Edison University and MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson.
Mr. Hetherington’s portfolio reflects a broad range of responsibilities including VP of Manufacturing and VP of Financial Planning for Simon & Schuster Higher Ed. In addition, Mr. Hetherington held leadership roles in Finance, Operations, and Sales at Reader’s Digest, Wolters Kluwer Health, Columbia University Press and Baker & Taylor.
In addition, Mr. Hetherington served as COO of Klopotek North America and as CMO for knk Software .
Mr. Hetherington is an adjunct professor and on the Advisory Board for Pace University’s Graduate Publishing Program and served on the boards for the Book Industry Study Group, Book Manufacturers Institute, and PubWest
