Ben Tider is a commercial executive with over 20 years of experience in e-commerce and marketplace businesses. He is passionate about reusing things that already exist — both as a business philosophy and a personal conviction.
Ben brings rare depth of expertise in the circular economy to his role as Chief Commercial Officer at World of Books Group, one of the world's leading second-hand book platforms, where he oversees the company's sustainability agenda alongside its marketing, merchandising and pricing strategy.
Previously, he spent over a decade at 1stDibs (Nasdaq: DIBS), the luxury resale marketplace, where he built and ran the teams responsible for driving demand and providing high-end customer support. Earlier in his career he was the Audience Development & Analytics Director for multiple flagship magazine brands at Time Inc., including Real Simple, Essence, and This Old House.
