IBPA Publishing University 2026

I have an MA in journalism from the University of Maryland. I worked as a newspaper reporter in Maryland and DC after which I worked in Brazil for 17 years. During that time, I gradually shifted to nonfiction book editing. I graduated from the University of Denver Publishing Institute in 2015. We opened Endeavor Literary Press shortly after (hybrid press and editorial services) and then launched Upriver Press (traditional publishing) to focus on books about critical issues written by prominent scholars. I'm extremely interested in the ethics and economics of AI in book publishing, and I'm eager to learn from other publishers!
